2 Down

Well, I have finished my second week here in Cork.  Everything seems to be falling into place as it should.  I am still learning the city, but I have a pretty good grasp on it now.  I can navigate around without getting too lost.  As long as I can fins the river I am good (I just pray that it is the south fork of the river that I'm following).

My classes this week have focused primarily on readings.  Nothing to exciting to report on that front.  Just theory on top of more theory.  I cannot wait to be done with all this theory crap.  In my previous post, I expressed my joy at not having a lecture in which Franz Boas was mentioned.  Alas, I was mistaken as Thursday's lecture was devoted to the American side and view points of anthropological and archaeological theory.  I knew it had to be too good to be true.  Sadly, at this point all I can really say is that class is incredibly boring.  Nothing is new.  I am hoping that that will change soon.

Not much else to report from this week.  Its been raining pretty heavily for the past 2 days, haven't even left the apartment. I don't have class tomorrow but I have some errands to do and I think I might go in to the bone lab and study for a bit as I have a bone quiz on Thursday afternoon.  So yeah...short post.  I will get better at posting more frequently I promise!
